Kathryn Murphy

Kathryn Murphy is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at the DENT specializing in various headache disorders and neuro oncology. She is also a certifying practitioner for the New York State Medical Cannabis Program. She began working at Dent in 2014. She joined DENT with five years of prior experience in Pediatric Emergency Nursing, Pediatric Intensive Care Nursing, Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing, and Pediatric Urgent Care Nursing. While working at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo she earned the Children’s Champion award as well as the Rising Star RN award. Kathryn has a Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from D’Youville College. She has a Bachelors in Nursing from Daemen University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, American Academy of Neurology, American Headache Society, and the Society for NeuroOncology. She is ACLS and PALS certified.

Procedures she performs include: Botox, Nerve Blocks, Trigger Point Injections, and Sphenopalatine Ganglion Nerve Blocks.

She sees patients at Dent Tower in Amherst.

Kathryn enjoys gardening, reading, peloton workouts, and spending time with her family.
